The Casey Public Library is preparing for the new month.

During the first week of April, the library will have a “Bring your own craft” event on Wednesday from 1-3pm, along with a Fly A Kite Challenge at 4pm. There’s a spring craft scheduled for April 6th from 10am to noon, and then they celebrate National Library Week from the 7th to the 13th. April 10th will see the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach visit with a spring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program, and April 13th there will be a poetry and storytelling event beginning at 10am, with a celebration of the library form 11:30am to 12:30pm.
