History Boy Theatre Company has a special two-night concert with a solo musician.
The non-profit organization is hosting “Play On” with writer, actor and musician Val Vigoda. She has been a co-writer to many songs at Disney park attractions, films, as well as live shows, such as “Toy Story: the Musical.” Vigoda has also been a part of original musicals, including “Sleeping Beauty Wakes” that won Best World Premier Musical from Ovation Awards in 2007 and “Ernest Shackleton Loves Me” that won Best Musical from the Off-Broadway Alliance Award in 2017. Her additional accolades include performing on tour with the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Joe Jackson and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Vigoda will perform “Play On” which is a journey through her life, playing the electric violin and weaving in personal stories. There are two shows, tonight and tomorrow night, beginning at 7pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm. Tickets are $20 per person and concessions will be available for purchase.
