10:30am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 2000 block of S Avenue.

2:50pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near Mulberry Avenue.

3:35pm: The Sheriff and Deputies assisted the Jefferson police Department with a search warrant in the 300 block of East State Street, Jefferson.

4:30pm: Todd Geisler 51 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

7:16pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 237th Street near Kirkwood Avenue. Dallas Chargo 41 of Scranton struck a deer with a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee causing an estimated 5,000 dollars damage.

8:41pm: A deputy investigated a fire near Division Street and Percival Street in Grand Junction.

Thursday, March 28th

4:56am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue. Brenda Groves 51 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2022 Subaru Forester causing an estimated 7,000 dollars damage.

5:49am: A deputy investigated a gas smell in the 200 block of West Percival Street, Rippey.

9:03am: Jacob Stewart 31 of Carroll was booked into the jail for assault causing bodily injury and domestic abuse assault 1st offense.

10:51am: A deputy investigated a missing person in the 100 block of East Percival Street, Rippey.

2:56pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 100 block of 330th Street.

4:03pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near Forrest Avenue.

4:31pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 400 block of 11th Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
