The Perry Chamber’s Big Boom Bracket Battle started out with 30 participants, but is now down to the final two with the Radio Pie Auction set for Wednesday.

According to a press release, the Perry Chamber announces that Perry Police Officer Alex Lott and Ivette Drahos from the Lazy Goose Boba Tea and Ice Cream are the two final contestants in the bracket battle. The chamber explains that online donations can be given at https://givebutter.com/2024BBBB2 or in person at the McCreary Center, Ben’s Five & Dime or directly to the Perry Chamber of Commerce through this upcoming Tuesday at 11am.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti details that after the third round, a total of $4,755 has been raised towards the 4th of July Fireworks Drive. Once the winner is announced on Tuesday, they will be invited to Raccoon Valley Radio for the Pie Auction, beginning at 8am. The event will be broadcasted live on KDLS 99.7 FM and AM 1310 and also livestreamed on the Chamber’s Facebook. Pasutti adds that a new feature this year is that the honor of delivering the pie in the face to the winner of the bracket battle will also be auctioned off during the Radio Pie Auction. She encourages people interested in bidding to call the radio station at (515)-465-5357 in order to place their bid.
