There are a couple of days left to register to attend this year’s Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation Grant Award Ceremony.

The annual event will be held this coming Tuesday at the Greene Room Events Center at Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson. The desserts and a social hour begins at 6:30pm, followed by the program starting at 7pm. During the ceremony, GGCGC Board Members will be acknowledged, along with the amount of funds that each municipality and school district in the county receives, pledges that GGCGC made and the major highlight of the night will be the competitive grants.

GGCGC gives five percent of the adjusted gross income of the casino in the forms of grants, donations and other means to worthy causes and projects, not only within Greene County, but 0.9 percent is given to the six contiguous counties in their respective county foundations.
