On Monday the Panorama Girls Soccer team faced off against Harlan at home for their first official game of the 2023-2024 soccer season. The Panthers came into this contest riding the wave off their scrimmage win against Perry where the Panthers defeated the Jayettes 7-0. Using this passion and excitement, the Panthers continued to remain dominate in their first official contest against the Harlan Cyclones. Although the Cyclones were able to score one goal, Panther goalkeepers Juliana Rizzuti and Bridgete White shinned, with Rizzuti only allowing one goal with saving four goals while freshmen Bridgete White had an 100% save percentage with 3 saves. On the offensive side, sophomore Morgan Creese came out with a fire, scoring 2 goals off 15 shots with 10 of those 15 shots being on goal. Mia Waddle scored the other goal for the Panthers, scoring 1 goal off 3 shots that were all on goal.

The Panthers hope to ride the wave off these two wins and use them as motivation for their next contest against the West Central Valley Wildcats at home on Friday for First Responders Night. The match begins at 5PM.
