The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday in regular session.
The Board heard from People’s Bank Scranton Branch Manager Peggy Hoyt on the 25 Corridor Housing Initiative. The initiative would work to fund housing projects in small communities on and around Highway 25, which would be Bayard and Bagely in Guthrie County. Funding from the County would stay in Guthrie County.
The Board also heard from Lauren Mortensen of Region XII Council of Governments on the County’s hazard mitigation plan, and made some minor changes that will be submitted back to them. They also approved a two percent raise for the office staff the Guthrie County Attorney’s Office, and discussed the revisions and comments left by the County’s attorney on the Request for Proposal submitted by the Guthrie County Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council, and decided to discuss any insurance concerns on Thursday with the County’s insurance agent.
