Nominations for two awards at Guthrie County Hospital are open until April 10th.
The Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem, or DAISY Award, is a program recognizing nurses internationally, and celebrates the skill and compassion they show daily. Each honoree is celebrated in a public ceremony in their unit. The second award that individuals can be nominated for is for the Certified Nursing Assistants who help their nurses shine and and thrive. The Sunshine Award recognizes those on the CNA team for the hospital who helps the nurses be the best they can. The Awardee will also be recognized publically, at the same time as the DAISY Awardee.
To nominate a nurse for the DAISY Award, patients can visit the hospital’s website for a link to the nomination form. To nominate a CNA for the Sunshine Award, nurses can visit the same page on the website for the nomination form.
