The deadline is fast approaching for anyone wanting to attend a popular fundraising event in Greene County.

The 7th Annual BOOST Bash is Saturday, April 6th at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds and the deadline to purchase tickets is tomorrow. BOOST is Bringing Optimism and Opportunities to Students and Teachers, and the non-profit organization raises money every year to help supplement items, trips or anything else for staff and students in the Greene County School District.

BOOST Board Member Matt Wetrich says they tried to focus more on one area for people to bid on during the live auction at BOOST Bash.

“We try to do some fun things that are not stuff that you can just go buy, but provide some fun experiences, some unique experiences. Some things like renting the (high school) football players for some manual labor, movie theater has got the Golden Ticket for two people now, which means you can go to every single movie, every single night of the year if you want for free; also we have a progressive dinner that the BOOST organization will be organizing again.”

The event starts at 5pm with a social time, followed by dinner prepared by Ram Restaurant at 6:30pm. The dessert auction will kick-off the bidding portion of the evening at 7pm. Last year, BOOST raised over $72,000 and in six years, they have raised over $350,000. Tickets are $30 each or $240 for a table of eight.   To register and purchase tickets, click the link below.
