The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will set a public hearing before considering to approve an amendment to the solar energy ordinance, and they will consider for approval selecting a construction manager at risk for the county jail project. The Board will also consider for approval an amendment to the Iowa Department of Transportation 2025 fiscal year budget with the Greene County Secondary Roads Department and the five year construction plan with the DOT.
Additionally, the Board will consider approving a resolution for a road closure for the Snake Creek Bridge replacement project on 280th Street, and hold a discussion on the county jail financing, along with financing for the HVAC courthouse project and tax increment financing with the Secondary Roads Department with Northland Securities.
