Heath Telleen is in his second season of his second stint coaching girls’ golf at Greene County High School, and the veteran coach says he already sees a big difference from last season. “Last season was almost like starting from scratch. Nearly all the girls were completely new to the sport. Maggie Mikkelson had played some, but none had been on a high school golf team. We’ve hit the ground running this year in the practices. The girls are excited about it and they’re proud to be a part of it, which is always an important thing as a coach. You always want them to be excited to be a part of your program, and I feel we’re there.”

Coach Telleen said there are six girls on the team with the possibility of one or two more that are doing more than one sport this Spring.
