Helen Kirk is heading into her final soccer season with the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers and she displays a positive environment for her teammates.

Kirk, along with the rest of the Tigers, have high expectations this year to advance farther in the state tournament, but she doesn’t want to lose the comradery of the team. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how she implements that aspect to her younger teammates.

“I just feel like positivity and support is just super important on our team. Just making sure everyone feels like they can perform their best and also leading by example, just giving it my all, so hopefully they can pick up on it too.”

As a junior, Kirk played in all 16 games, tallying three assists, 15 goals, 33 points, and shot 38% from the field. ADM’s debut game is tomorrow in Adel against Norwalk at 7pm.
