A weather related class will be in Menlo tomorrow.

The National Weather Service in Des Moines, in partnership with the Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency, will be holding a storm spotter training at the Menlo Community Building, located at 417 Sherman Street Menlo, Iowa 50164. The class will be from 7-9pm, and will look to teach new storm spotters about different weather conditions, and remind current spotters about the intricacies of weather that may be seen in the area. Storm spotters need to take this training once every two years to stay registered, but can attend every year if they wish, as the training is free to attend and open to the public. No registration is necessary.
