John Beavers, Panora, was driving on Hwy 44 when he hit a turkey.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2000.

Cesar Magana, age 20, 1007 Dewey Ave, Perry, was arrested on Contempt- Violation Of No Contact Order.  He was also cited for Speeding, Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability and Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

March 16

Fajko Garibovic, age 48, 649 49th St, Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence and Open Container.

 A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
