The Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding another round of a mandatory class for those looking to show livestock during the 2024 fair season.
The Youth for the Quality Care of Animals program is an annual education program that focuses on animal well-being. Any youth that are eight to twenty-one years old are required to go through the program to show any animals besides horses, dogs and cats. The Extension will be hosting the class from 6-7pm on March 19th, and this is the second YQCA class of the year.
