A reminder that tonight is the Greene County Lamb Producers Banquet and Auction.

Co-organizer Dr. Steve Karber says the event is at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds, with a social time at 5pm. Dinner will then be served with a leg of lamb from the Lamb Producers and sides catered by Lidderdale Country Store. 

Karber points out the auction will follow the dinner and some of the items include donated things from the community, along with belt buckles for this year’s Greene County Fair Grand Champion Market Lamb, Supreme Champion Ewe and Grand Champion Master Showman. Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will go toward recognitions for this year’s county fair lamb exhibitors.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the door.
