The next event for the Warren Cultural Center’s Locals and Legends series is tonight.

Beginning at 7pm, Des Moines Irish Session will be performing a traditional seisiún, a gathering of Irish musicians to celebrate the common interest in their music, while playing together in an informal and relaxed setting. The group has been playing together for over 30 years, performing seisiúns every Tuesday all over the Des Moines metro. In the custom for this kind of music, the number of participating musicians varies from week to week, with the largest group including about 20 individuals. Tickets are available at the door, with admission being $20 for adults, and free for those high school aged and younger.
