Lydia Olejniczak has seen her name called early in her tenure with Drake softball.  The former Perry standout has started at 2nd base for the Bulldogs in four of the ten games in the month of March.  The freshman has struggled at the dish in her first 11 at-bats.  Olejniczak has 3 hits on the season and is hitting .182 on the young year.  Her best game so far this season came on March 10th against Maine.  The former Jayette went 2-2, scored 2 runs, and stole a base.  The Bulldogs are currently 10-10 and start Missouri Valley Conference play today in Carbondale against the Salukis.
