Spring sports are underway for three of the teams at Greene County High School. Track & field has been going for three weeks, and girls’ soccer started yesterday. Boys’ soccer, girls and boys golf official practices are scheduled to begin March 18 due to Spring Break this week in the Greene County School District.

Both soccer teams are set to open on March 26 with the girls at home in Jefferson vs. Grand View Christian (Des Moines) and the boys at Boone.

The golf teams have March 29 as their opening date for boys at a tournament hosted by Saydel at Woodland Hills Golf Course. The girls’ golfers have an April 1 meet in Carroll for their opener.

The track & field teams have had two indoor meets already with their final meet indoors for the girls and boys this Saturday in Storm Lake at Buena Vista University. The Rams have an outdoor meet scheduled for March 19 at Simpson College in Indianola.
