Now that the Panorama Panther boys have officially started their Track & Field field season after participating in the Dickinson Relays, senior Braylon Dawes returns to the track passionately and with a new fire after Dawes qualified for the state meet last season. Dawes, looking for a better result than last year, participated in the Dickinson relays, and placed 2oth in the 200 meter dash participating in a different event than last season, mainly participating in the 400 and relays. However, coach Dahlhouser has noticed a shift in Dawes’ passion saying, “we knew that he was going to come back pretty hungry because although he qualified you know that’s kind of where, you know, the road ended for him and I think he’s really pushing himself and bringing his teammates along on his journey to not only qualify for state but to get on there and maybe earn a spot on the medal stand.”

Dawes and the Panther boys track team prepare for their first official meet with the whole Panther squad at Central College on Friday.
