Teacher scholarships are currently available for residents in Dallas County for the remainder of March with one local organization.

Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is awarding a $500 scholarship for future teachers. Deb Irving, who serves as the President of the chapter, tells Raccoon Valley Radio that applicants must be a current college sophomore or junior student that is majoring in any field of education. Irving says applications are easy to fill out.

“I’m more than happy to send out an application to anybody. Does not have to be women, it can be anybody majoring in the education majors.”
