The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer team’s season gets underway in 13 days, as Raccoon Valley Radio looks back at how the 2023 season unfolded.

ADM concluded the year with a 12-5 overall record (4-2 in the Raccoon River Conference) as they lost four of their first six games. Following the 2-4 start for the Tigers, they found a groove, winning 10 of their final 11 games. ADM defeated Council Bluffs Jefferson 5-0 in the Class 2A Regional 7 Semifinal round, they beat Glenwood to become the Class 2A Champions and advance to state. The girls lost a hard tough battle against Pella (1-0) in the Class 2A State Quarterfinal, which ended their season.

Jada Grove led the team in points scored with 58, followed by Helen Kirk with 33, and Hannah Desmarais tallied 18. All three players are coming back as the Tigers lost seniors Sarah Tapken, Alexa Seidl, Dani Person, and Lauren Case.

The first game of the 2024 season for ADM is Monday, March 25th in Adel versus Norwalk.
