Tuesday, March 5th

10:43am: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 400 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.

11:42am: A deputy assisted with a medical issue in the 700 block of West Harrison Street, Jefferson.

3:16pm: A deputy assisted with a cow out on 170th Street and D Avenue.

3:45pm: A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a ditch fire in the 1600 block of J Avenue.

8:19pm: A deputy investigated a report of gunshots in the 600 block of South 12th Street, Grand Junction. The sounds were coming from a resident hitting a fence with a metal object.

Wednesday, March 6th

6:00am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 1700 block of B Avenue, Rippey. The Iowa State Patrol, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, and the Central Iowa Drug Task Force assisted with the search warrant. Suspected controlled substances were found. Charges are pending lab results.

9:26am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 900 block of Main Street, Scranton. The Central Iowa Drug Task Force assisted with the search warrant. Controlled substances were located. Charges are pending lab results.

2:20pm: Michael Eastman 50 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

5:35pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 600 block of Main Street, Scranton.

10:27pm: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on J Avenue near 220th Street. Cody Wegner 32 of Jefferson was arrested for driving while barred.

11:00pm: Cody Wegner 32 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

Thursday, March 7th

9:41am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a theft investigation in the 600 block of South Olive Street.

9:50am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Elizabeth Street, Rippey.

6:36pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 200 block of Cartwright Street, Rippey. Randolph Glass 58 of Rippey for an arrest warrant for a probation violation.

7:50pm: Randolph Glass 58 of Rippey was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
