A local business in Redfield is helping out another business that suffered a fire earlier this week. 

The Dairy Shoppe in Redfield is supporting Dexfield Diner and Pub after a fire erupted at the restaurant earlier this week.

This past Monday, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Adel, Redfield, Stuart, Panora, Winterset, Perry, Denver and Earlham Fire Departments, and Dallas County EMS, Stuart Ambulance and Redfield EMS responded to the fire at Dexfield Diner & Pub in Redfield. The restaurant sustained severe damage. Then the Dairy Shoppe in Redfield announced that they will be open tomorrow afternoon from 2-5pm for a special benefit. 

The ice cream shop  will be serving ice cream cones, and limited shakes and malts. They will accept either cash or check with all the proceeds going to the Dexfield Diner.
