Greene County ISU Extension is offering one final training opportunity of the season for the individuals that apply pesticides themselves.

The Private Pesticide Applicator training is this coming Friday starting at 6:30pm at the Greene County Extension Office in Jefferson. The course will fulfill the requirements for recertification for 2023-24. The class will be led by ISU Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt. 

The cost for the training is $30 per person and it is expected to last 2.5 hours. Registrations are preferred as walk-ins will only be allowed if there is room available and there is no late admissions. Contact the Extension Office at 515-386-2138 or stop by to sign up.
