The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council heard from Region XII Council of Governments on the City’s hazard mitigation plan, to which no major changes were needed, then approved the 2022-23 urban renewal report. They also discussed a housing project with a local contractor, and decided to hold off on sending in an application through Region XII Council of Governments for a project on city owned property, to investigate the possibility and positives of building a duplex instead.
