The Dallas County Hospital recently awarded Perry High School with scholarships to healthcare students that will be awarded at the Senior Awards Night later this year.

Perry High School was handed a gift of $5,000 from IHERF (spell this out please), who is a subsidiary of the Iowa Hospital Association. According to Dallas County Hospital, IHERF specializes in scholarships for healthcare students.

The check is going to give students the opportunity to enter a healthcare program next school year, following those seniors that are awarded the scholarship. The hospital states the award will help one or more students as it will make its presentation at Perry High School’s Senior Awards Night on May 15th.
