Alejandra Vaca Ochoa, Perry, was driving on Hwy 141 near T Ave when she slid off the road due to snowing conditions and ended up in the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2500.  The car was towed privately.

Feb. 22

Hugo Campos, age 44, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Arlene Bell, 32, 6630 Nature Rd NW, Bemidji, Mn, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Rudolph Zagar, age 39, 2602 McKinley St, Perry, was charged with Contempt-Violation Of No Contact Order.

Heather Garcia, Lake City, was traveling on Hwy 141, at mile marker 137, when the car had a mechanical failure and caused her to lose control, going into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  The vehicle was going to be privately towed.

David Steward, Earlham, was driving on Old Hwy 6 , in the 32000 block, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $15000.  He was going to have the vehicle privately towed.

Feb. 23

Nonie Rizley, age 37, 8925 Cascade Ave, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
