With spring time returning to Iowa, the 2023-2024 Boys & Girls golf season will begin soon for the West Central Valley Wildcats. Sign up sheets were posted outside the office window in the high school yesterday, marking the official beginning of the golf season for West Central Valley. Last season, the Wildcat boys placed 11th at the WCAC Conference meet with a score of 448 and placed 8th at the Class 2A Sectional at Panorama.

Last season the Wildcat Girls golf season went pretty well, as they managed to place 3rd at 4 of their meets, 2nd at 3, and won the WCV Triangular against CAM and Exira-EHK. The Wildcat girls did not participate in the Class 2A Sectional, but plan on having another great season with the dream of the Sectional meet.

The Wildcat golf teams will have their first meet of the 2023-2024 season on April 8th at the Jester Park Golf Course in Granger.
