Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Superintendent Greg Dufoe discusses the protocol of safety measures following the shooting at Perry High School last month.

Dufoe says that they are constantly evaluating their safety procedures in relation to supervision. One way that Dufoe exemplifies this is having increased police presence on campus with the partnership between DeSoto and Adel Police Departments. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they are also working through a safety grant program. 

“We’re efforting through the Governor Safety Grant Program and making some decisions over the next couple of months. So, there’s been a lot going on and we intend to keep that at the forefront moving ahead.”

Dufoe notes that both police departments have been on campus since the events in January and will continue to be throughout the remainder of the year.
