Tuesday, February 20th

1:09am: Vickie Williams reported items stolen from her vehicle while parked in the 500 Block of East Madison Street. The officer is investigating.

4:40am: Ken Hardman reported water coming up through the street near Grimmell and Lincoln Way Streets. The Public Works Department was contacted.

5:30am: Kennadie Machovec reported a Careless Driver on N Avenue, heading towards Jefferson. The officer did locate the reported vehicle.

12:24pm: Fareway reported a female customer had made comments about “Blowing Up” the courthouse. The offer tracked the subject down and spoke with her. It was not a credible threat.

9:48am: An officer began an investigation into a Stolen Motor Vehicle from the 100 Block of West McKinley Street. The 2015 Ford F350 is owned by Molle Frazier of Boone. There was a basket lift machine hooked to the vehicle. The lift was located dumped in a ravine in the Squirrel Hollow area. The truck also had skid loader implements on the flatbed of the truck. The officer is investigating.

2:39pm: Mary Norgart reported a dog in the area of Cedar and Washington Streets, without food and water. The officer determined the animal was fine.

3:04pm: Morgan Bear spoke with an officer about living conditions of a residence in Jefferson. The resident is bringing a newborn home soon and this concerned her. The officer is speaking with DHS.

7:03pm: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised they were fine.

7:14pm: Sarah Roeder reported a subject walking near Lincoln Way and Vine Streets, who was in a verbal altercation with a subject in a vehicle. The officer did not locate the parties involved.
