Perry went east last night as they took on Bondurant-Farar in what was their 18th road game of the season. The defending state champions flexed their muscles as they topped Perry, 88-57. B-F is still alive to defend their crown even without their top 4 scorers from last year’s team.
The Perry Bluejays looked like a team who hadn’t played in 10 days. The rust was definitely there early as they trailed, 23-12, after one. Berggren was red hot for Bondurant as he hit four 3’s in the first quarter. B-F would maintain a lead into half, 44-24. The fourth started with Bondurant up, 66-42. Final 88-57.
Levan led Perry in scoring with 15.
Perry finishes the season 9-14 and B-F advances to the Regional semifinals with a 13-9 record.
