Feb. 16

Lindsey Davis, age 37, 1211 E 32nd St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Martin Vidal, age 35, 1214 16th St, Perry, was arrested on a charge of Fugitive From Justice.

Ryan McCormick, Adel, was driving east on Interstate 80 near the 111 mile marker, when a semi, driven by Timothy Dalbec, Iola, WI, lost control on snow covered roads and struck Mr. McCormick’s vehicle, sending it into the median.  Mr. McCormick struck a vehicle driven by Patrick Rupe, Adel, sending him into the median as well.  The semi, driven by Mr. Dalbec, crossed the median and ended up in the cable barriers on west bound lanes.   Minor injuries were reported.  Damage to Mr. McCormick’s vehicle was estimated at $50000.  Damage to Mr. Rupe’s vehicle was estimated at $5000.  Damage to the semi was estimated at $50000.

Neal Koob, West Des Moines, was traveling on N Ave, near 270th St, when he lost control on slick roads and went into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.  The vehicle was towed privately.

Feb. 17

Shauna Else, age 33, 305 Fairmeadow Dr, Webster City, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Compulsory Education Violation.

Chad Thompson, age 44, 1109 Dale Dr, Winterset, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Speeding.

Aileen Barlean, Booneville, was traveling in the 22000 block of 360th St, when she experienced a medical issue and ran off the road, rolling her vehicle.  She was transported to Methodist hospital for any necessary treatment.  Damage to her vehicle was estimated at $18000.

A minor driver was in the 15000 block of J Ave when a deer ran into the roadway.  The minor driver struck the deer and then pulled to the side of the road.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $8000.

Feb. 18

Amanda Westbrook, age 22, 725 SE Dartmoor Dr, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Feb. 19

A minor driver was backing out of a driveway on Maple Dr, Adel, when the driver struck a legally parked police vehicle.  No injuries were reported and damage to each vehicle was estimated at $500.

Feb. 20

Jason Payne, age 47, 2201 S. Harding St, Oak Grove, Mo, was arrested on a charge of Fugitive From Justice.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
