The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will consider for approval Guthrie County Fair Board fiscal year 2025 funding, along with hearing the Fair Board update. They will also hear updates from the Guthrie County Airport Authority, and three department heads, including Health Services director Jotham Arber, Conservation Director Brad Halterman and County Engineer Josh Sebern.

During Halterman’s update, the Board will consider for approval a letter of recommendation for a Grow Greene County Grant for the Raccoon River Valley Trail, and during Sebern’s update they will consider for approval resolutions pertaining to right of way and temporary easement rates, and rate of compensation for fencing. They will also consider for approval assignment of a County held tax sale certificate for a parcel of land, an invoice for Precision Arc Welding, and hold a strategic planning meeting.

The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available vie Microsoft Teams. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
