The State Wrestling Tournament is set from Wednesday through Saturday in Des Moines with four wrestlers from Dallas County.

Two athletes from Perry and two from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Schools will be competing in the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) State Wrestling Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The Bluejays will be sending Seniors Kain Kilmer and Keegan Snyder, while the Tigers have Juniors Karver Sutton and Jon Hatchitt going. 

In districts, Perry’s Kilmer took first place in the 190 pound weight class and Snyder won the 215 pound weight class. ADM’s Sutton captured a third place finish at 190 pounds, and Hatchitt garnered second place in the 175 pound category. The action begins tomorrow from Des Moines.
