The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board’s meeting on Monday will tackle replacing the lighting fixtures in the north competition gym, among other agenda items.

The existing metal halide fixtures can’t be controlled individually and also take long to warm up plus are an inefficient use of energy. The Board will be considering a contract with a company to replace 40 of those fixtures with LEDs.

Other agenda items that the School Board will consider approving include setting a public hearing for the certified budget, two new certified staff positions  for the 2024-2025 school year, a  quote regarding the Crowdstrike Falcon Complete Renewal, a serial engagement letter with Mullen Coughlin LLC., making an appointment to the Dallas County Conference Board, and a yearbook printing agreement. Finally the Board will review the district’s projected school fees for 2024-2025.
