The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams will play their third game of the week, first at home, as they welcome in the Carroll Tigers.

The ADM Tigers began the week with two straight road games Monday and Tuesday as the team was in Ballard and Winterset. ADM fell to Ballard 57-48 on Monday after a couple of late threes from Senior Brooklyn Baumgardner pushed the lead to nine following the game being tied at 45. ADM was led by Senior Aubrey Winter, who posted 17 points (five three pointers). Junior Kelli Storck racked up 11 and Freshman Alexis Maxwell and Sophomore Lauren Hagedorn combined for 10 (five each).

In the game against Winterset, ADM suffered a loss by the same score that they were defeated by the first time…42-31. The Huskies scored the first six points of the game, and led by five after one. However, the Tigers saw a deficit of 12 points in both the second and fourth quarter, with both times pulling to within four but never closer. In that game, Storck was the leading scorer with 11, Sophomore Madelyn Roundcount snagged nine (9) points, and Winter tallied six (6).

The Tigers sit at 6-14 overall (4-10 Raccoon Valley Conference). Carroll comes in with a record of 11-8 overall (8-7 RVC). The two teams met in Carroll on January 29th, where the Carroll Tigers won 48-39. The game will start at 6pm with the Raccoon Valley Radio broadcast available to listen to on K1079 and the KKRF Mobile App.
