An Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center student athlete is in Iowa City today and tomorrow.

Junior Ty Thomas is on Carroll’s swim team through a sharing agreement, and at the district meet on February 3rd, helped the team send two of their events to the state meet. He is competing individually in the 100 yard butterfly, having a personal record of 54.63 seconds, and is also competing with other members of the team in the 400 freestyle relay, with the team’s record being 3:16.5. At the district meet, the team took third place with 255 points.
