With the biggest NFL game coming up this Sunday, certain groups of youth in the Greene County area are invited to a special event.
The Webb House in Jefferson invites all sixth through eighth graders to the Superbowl Party, with doors opening at 4:30pm and activities and fun to begin at 5:30. Co-organizer Jim North says kids can also play any of the games and other activities that the Webb House offers, along with getting ready for this year’s Superbowl game between the San Francisco 49’ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The game will be on the big screen in the basement for real fans and there is another screen upstairs with the game and the rest are for gaming and other viewing options.
North adds there will be free pizza and snacks, and all of the kids will be under adult supervision with chaperones on sight. No registration is necessary with this free event. He says he continues to offer this for kids in the community because he wants to have a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to gather and hangout while also watching the Superbowl together.
