The Dallas County Conservation Board has a course coming up on Saturday to learn more about Iowa’s mammals.
The event from the Conservation Board is titled “Iowa’s Mammals,” and will take place Saturday at 10am at Forest Park 14581 K Ave, Perry. Dallas County Conservation Board Outreach Coordinator Sarah McKeever shares more details about it.
“This is an exploration of some of our different mammals’ health. So, we have different furs to explore, (such as) black bear, beaver. One of our naturalists will lead that program and it will be indoors, so you can go ahead and register for that one to be notified of any changes and we hope to see you there.”
McKeever says the event was supposed to be held last month, but was postponed due to the weather. Find the information to register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/iowas-mammals-tickets-771701729647?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
