The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School Speech Team will have three teams represented at All-State. 

ADM took nine teams to the State Large Group Contest at Ankeny Centennial this past Saturday. The events that participated at the state competition were Varsity Reader’s Theatre, Varsity Choral Reading, Varsity One Act, three Varsity Improv groups, Varsity Short Film, Varsity Ensemble Acting, and Freshman Solo Mime. Speech Coach Jacque Seidl shared that those teams received a Division One rating. 

Three of the teams were also selected to showcase their performances at the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Festival next Saturday, February 17th at Iowa State University. Those entries include, “The Cats in Krasinski Square” in Varsity Readers Theatre, “Tales of the Lunch Lady” in Varsity Choral Reading, and “Dibs” in the Varsity Ensemble Acting.
