Greene County’s wrestlers lost to Webster City on criteria and defeated Woodward-Granger in Woodward on Tuesday night. The action was the final dual meets of the season and Coach Kirk Davis’ team finished with a 13-8 record.
The match vs. the Lynx ended in a 35-35 tie, and to break a tie the officials check a criteria list until the is broken. The Rams were 56-21 winers vs. the host Hawks. The Rams enter the postseason this Saturday in a Class 2A District Tournament in Atlantic at 10 a.m. The top two finishers in each weight class will advance to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines and the State Tournament Feb. 14-17.
