Tuesday, February 6th

12:08pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 200 block of Anyer Street, Dana.

12:25pm: Harmony Thompson 25 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, a controlled substance violation, and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense.

1:07pm: Nathan Martin 48 of Colfax was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

4:09pmL Jesse Kniffin 38 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, 3 counts of a controlled substance violation, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense.

4:23pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 1000 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

4:46pm: The Sheriff and deputies conducted a search warrant at 1104 Lincoln Street, Scranton looking for a wanted person.

5:15pm: Jeanne Thompson 50 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

6:45pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident in the 1000 block of U Avenue. Candance Kirk 55 of Grand Junction struck a deer with a 2013 Nissan Murano. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 1,500 dollars.

8:47pm: A deputy assisted with placing two dogs found near Falcon Avenue and 240th Street into Paws. One dog was a husky and the other was a white dog.

10:28pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with locating a juvenile in the 100 block of North Olive Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
