The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved the Color Board scheme for the new Administration Building at yesterday’s meeting.

The board was presented with the interior colors of walls to be painted for their new administration building during last week’s supervisors meeting. The board wanted to hold on to review the drafts before making a decision. This week, the color scheme was approved as the tones will be an option of green or blue in respective rooms. Also, the board approved to pay for the amount of $1,160,346.05 for the Turner Construction Company, out of Des Moines, to begin work on it. Turner Constructions announces that with approval, work is expected to begin at the end of the month.

Other items mentioned during the meeting yesterday was a request to replace a 2020 Dodge Durango for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. On a different topic, the discussion was tabled for a City of Dawson Roads project to be revisited at a later date, pending more information, and there was approval for a depository to add a bank.
