Perry won their fourth contest in the last five last night.  The Bluejays took down Greene County, 72-64.  On Senior Night, we saw a new man in uniform for Perry.  Long time team manager, Nate Lutterman, suited up for the first time.  Nate had been a team manger since he was a freshman.  Coach Morris had promised him if he stayed until his senior year he would get to play on Senior Night.  The Bluejays honored fellow seniors Drake Levan, Zander Mahler, Egan Leber, Kaelan Davis, and Minasey Tewelde in the victory.

Perry started slow with the all senior starting lineup, but would manage to lead after one, 20-10.  The Bluejays would extend the lead to take a 40-27 at half.  Perry would take a fifteen lead into the fourth.  Final 72-64.

The Bluejays improve to 8-12 (4-9) while Greene Co falls to 2-19 (1-13).

Myers led the Bluejays in scoring with 21.

Perry returns to action Thursday at South Tama high school for a JV/Varsity boys only doubleheader.
