The Little Charger Early Learning Center in Guthrie Center announced that they’ve received a food assistance certification.
The ELC is a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) site, and can offer free meals to children and adults. Children must be parts of households that have Family Investment Program or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, or are taking part in a Head Start program, while adults must be receiving SNAP benefits and Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income. Meals are provided without regard to race, age, sex (including orientation or identity), color, national origin or disability.
