The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.

The Board approved a liquor license for The Links and the 2024 County Substance Abuse Prevention semi-annual report, before entering a budget session for the Health Services Departments, with Director Jotham Arber on hand to discuss the changes and requests they were making. They then heard from Midwest Partnership Executive Director Brenda Dudley, and approved the fiscal year 2025 annual contribution to the organization.

The Board then approved the Treasurer’s semi-annual report, before entering into budget work sessions for the County Attorney and Secondary Roads Department. In his presentation, County Engineer Josh Sebern discussed plans for the upcoming fiscal year, including a breakdown on expenditures. The Board also approved the final pay voucher for a bridge project, the annual bridge posting resolution that allows the county to post weight limits for the many bridges they service, and a five percent increase for the County health insurance renewal.
