The Greenfield Public Library will be part of a fun event for those with green thumbs.

A Des Moines group called Nine Square Feet will be bringing their Seed Swap and Giveaway event to libraries across the state, and the Greenfield Public Library is participating. Nine Squared Feet has been doing this event for a few years, and is partnering with libraries outside the Des Moines Metro for the second time this year.

The free to attend event will be from 10am to noon on February 24th. Individuals will be able to bring seeds of their own to swap with others, and Nine Squared Feet will have some seed packets to share as well.
