An Adel woman was arrested following an alleged assault incident.

According to court documents, an Adel Police Officer responded at 5:55pm on January 28th for an assault that took place in the 1200 block of Prairie Street. The criminal complaint stated that the suspect, 49-year-old Renee Fuller admitted that a verbal argument with the female minor victim escalated to being physical as she slapped the victim in the face and pulled her hair from one room to another.

The officer observed injuries on the victim that were consistent with what Fuller stated. Fuller was arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for child endangerment-bodily injury and a serious misdemeanor for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness. Fuller was booked into the Dallas County Jail and there is a no contact order with the victim. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
