On Thursday the West Central Valley Wildcat basketball teams hosted and swept the Ogden Bulldogs as both Wildcats teams were able to score 50 points. The boy Wildcats who are 6-11 so far in the season, vanquished the Bulldogs by 5 points winning 50-45. The Bulldogs took the lead in the first, outsourcing the Wildcats 12-10. The Wildcats would use this as motivation going into the second scoring 16 points while holding the Bulldogs to only 9. With the score at 26-21 to start the second half, both teams would allow their defenses to shine as both teams scored under 10 points but the WIldcats were able to hold a 4 point lead going into the fourth. It would be another tight matchup in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats would outscore the Bulldogs 17-16 to come out on top 50-45. 

In the girls contest the Wildcats would come out with fire in the first, with their defense holding the Bulldogs to a combined 13 points in the first half. The Wildcats would score in the double digits both quarters, scoring 12 in the first and 17 in the second. Both defenses would shine in the third, as the Wildcats would only score 9 points but would hold the Bulldogs to 8 points. However, the Wildcats would come back and score in the double digits in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points to come out on top, 53-27. 

Both Wildcat teams come out on top against the Bulldogs, moving the boys up to 6-11 so far in the season and the girls moving up to 8-9.
